Our Fallen Investigators
In October 2023, International Specialized Investigations suffered a tragic loss when one of our investigators, Alan Grayson, was killed while working in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. Alan was a valued member of our team who participated in numerous high-level investigations throughout Mexico and played a critical role in several impactful cases.
Alan assisted in a significant animal cruelty investigation involving horses transported from the United States into Mexico, an effort that contributed to the development of Bianca’s Law in Texas. He also worked on a long-term case involving the location of a father who had abducted his young daughter nearly 25 years earlier. Alan traveled to Playa del Carmen, where he conducted surveillance that resulted in video and photographic evidence, helping investigators in Texas positively identify the individual.
Alan was fatally shot in 2023 while riding his motorcycle. His dedication, courage, and professionalism left a lasting impact on our organization and the clients he served. He is deeply missed by his family and by all of us at International Specialized Investigations.
